about

"HAPPY is the first Real Life album release since LIFETIME which spawned the hit 'God Tonight' in 1990. The album verges more on industrial darkwave than synthpop and it is fitting that its content finds them anything but happy. This is a dark, brooding record, but one which would craft the persona of Real Life for the next decade. Still very hook-laden, still very danceable -- but darker, more ominous and definitively more goth" ~allmusic

Originally released in 1997, it was followed in 1999 by the remix album, HAPPIER, largely produced by the band. This digital release combines both albums into one value packed download. HAPPY comprises tracks 1-10; HAPPIER is tracks 11-22.
